As a grassroots organization, the Saint James Music Academy is the product of peoples and communities coming together, working together, and creating together. Our committed and talented volunteers form an important part of this process, from slicing and dicing platters of vegetables for snack time to assisting our brass section in the Junior Orchestra, and everything in between. You do not need to be a classically trained musician to volunteer with us – you don’t even need to have the slightest hint of musical talent. If you are full of positive energy and enthusiasm, love working with children, and love being a part of an organization that is filled with moments of excitement and inspiration, there will be a place for you here.

If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to get in touch by sending an email to volunteer@sjma.ca.

We are now well along in the school year and have a pretty robust roster of awesome volunteers! However, we’re always happy to chat if you are looking to jump in mid year. If you are interested in getting involved, we invite you to follow the link below to learn more about volunteer opportunities at SJMA. Or fill out an application to let us know of your interest and availabilities, and we will be in touch to find a good place for you in our family.

All the best,

Audrey Guay, Volunteer Coordinator
